· Use video chat before meeting in person to verify someone is who they say they are.
· Be cautious if someone is too eager to move off the platform very quickly.

Meeting In Person Safely

· Always meet for the first time in a public place with lots of people around.
· Tell a trusted friend or family member where you're going and who you're meeting.
· Arrange your own transportation — don't rely on your date to get home.
· Keep your phone charged and share your location with someone you trust.

Recognize Red Flags

· Someone who refuses to video chat or meet in person after extended communication.
· Requests for money, gift cards, or financial assistance of any kind.
· Stories that seem inconsistent or that change over time.
· Pressure to move the relationship very quickly or share personal information too soon.

Report Concerns

· Use the Report button on any profile that makes you uncomfortable.
· Block users who send inappropriate messages — this prevents all future contact.
